Reciting John 17 to demonstrate you got the right message!

There is a young man whose parents were a part of an indigenous culture. They attended church but maintained a strong faith in wives' tales. It was understood that the oldest person was the authority in scriptural discussions. But, you had to study hard and they would encourage you. Sometimes the word of God, chapter and verse, would be irrelevant. But, it could mean that the fruit of the spirit is more of a necessity for the youngest person in the room; especially when you are told that you don't know your bible if you don't know that the dog who licked the good samaritan's face or Martha's baked goods was named "Moreover". But, everyone is encouraged to use the word "moreover" quite liberally after completion of their firt year of grade school. Ultimately, no matter who uses the word "moreover", the most important message in life during your first year of a graduate program or grade school is that the oldest person in the room is always right to God's glory. They may also ask you to recite John 17 to be sure you get the message! Where two or three are gathered together, the Heavenly father is in their midst. He is also very very old.

RESPECT OF PERSONS
re-spekt': The phrase nasa' phanim, means literally, "lift up the face," and, among other translations, is rendered indifferently "accept" or "respect the person" in the King James Version (contrast Proverbs 18:5 and 24:23). As applied to a (prostrate) suppliant, the phrase means "receive him with favor," and is so used in 1 Samuel 25:35 Malachi 1:8, 9 (compare Genesis 19:21, etc.). By a shift in force the phrase came to mean "accept the person instead of the cause" or "show partiality" (Job 13:8, 10 the American Standard Revised Version), and is so used commonly. A literal translation into Greek gave lambano prosopon (Sirach 35:13 (32:16); Luke 20:21 Galatians 2:6), with the noun prosopolempsia, "face-taking" (Romans 2:11 Ephesians 6:9Colossians 3:25 James 2:1), rendered uniformly "respect of persons" in English Versions of the Bible. A noun prosopolemptes, "respecter of persons," and a verb prosopolempteo, are found Acts 10:34 James 2:9. God's judgment rests solely on the character of the man and will be influenced by no worldly (Ephesians 6:9) or national (Romans 2:11) considerations.

Did you know Jesus made tables, chairs and other products? He might have etched his name on the bottom of his product. Did you know Jesus used the law to defend people caught in acts of misgiving? This is also true of Abraham Lincoln and a few thousand school principals who advocate for environments of fairness, justice and equity. What can you do except but do for others as you would wish others to do for you? He also said you would do greater things. He was also an uncommon vintner and fisherman.
